The new Bluetooth® battery packs communicate with the Bluetooth® module on the mobile dust extractor and ensure that even a cordless tool starts the mobile dust extractor automatically when switched on. This allows you to now benefit from Festool's entire dust-free system when working with Festool cordless products.
Use the BP 18 Li 5,0 ASI battery pack for multiple applications and with a range of 18V Festool machines. The battery is durable and comes with a 5.0 Ah capacity. This, combined with the brushless EC-TEC motors of Festool cordless power tools, keep your device running with sufficient power even as you switch between tools.
When it is time to charge the BP 18 Li 5,0 ASI, AIRSTREAM technology ensures the battery pack charges quickly and remains at the optimal temperature. The Festool Work app and the battery’s Bluetooth® function help you to keep track of the charging status and operating data (like temperature). Bluetooth® communication also enables an auto-start on the CLEANTEC mobile dust extractor, so the machine turns on as soon as your tool does. And, like all Festool battery packs, the BP 18 Li 5,0 ASI is fully covered by Festool Service through a three-year warranty.
