The unique belt-drive system distributes torque more efficiently with less wasted energy going to heat. Staying cool means a longer motor life and less wasted electricity. The Powermatic 66 has a convenient, hinged front access door and a 4-inch dust collection port for easy connection to standard dust collectors.
The 50-inch Accu-Fence has an interior spring that applies constant pressure when not locked down, which takes the slop out of fence movement, improving accuracy and the speed of fence adjustments.
It also has replaceable sides with easy-access screws. Users can adjust the sides so close to the tabletop that laminates will not slip underneath.

Cast iron table is precision-ground and polished to a fine mirror finish
Left tilting blade prevents stock from binding between the blade and fence, substantially reducing the possibility of kickback
Left tilting blade also aids in making clean mitre cuts leaving any tear-out on the bottom side of the workpiece
Wide stanced, heavy-duty, one-piece trunnion has a C-flange mount, relieving weight at the saw arm pivot shaft and promoting easier raising and tilting of saw blade
T-slot for standard mitre gauge
Exclusive 3VX-belt drive distributes torque more efficiently and generates less heat while operating virtually vibration-free
