Porter Cable 314 4-1/2" Trim Saw. This worm gear driven trim saw provides smoothness and durability that can't be beat. The rugged worm gear transmits power smoothly to the blade because the gears have the same amount of surface area contact at all times. The 4.5 amp ball bearing motor turns at 4,500 rpm to quickly power through all plywoods, paneling, and "1-by" lumber. It will cut 1-5/16 inches deep at 90 degrees, and 1-1/16 inches at 45 degrees. The kit includes the saw, 20 tooth carbide-tipped Riptide blade no. 12870, blade wrench no. 48317, knob no. 857990, and operator's manual.
