The long run time comes from Panasonic's 3.0 amp NiMH battery technology combined with a high quality C6 carbide thin kerf blade. The shoe will bevel to 45 degrees and has a depth adjustment from 1/8 to 1-13/16 inches. It is cut away for clear vision of the blade from either side. The saw has an electric brake and is equipped with a safety lock lever for safe but still comfortable use. The kit includes two 3.0 amp Nickel Metal Hydride batteries (NiMh). NiMh batteries will run 50% longer per charge than other batteries, and are environmentally friendly; they do not need to be recycled. Panasonic's NiMh batteries will provide as many charge cycles as Ni-cad (1200 cycles).
