This new design 16" woodworking planer is powered by a 3hp totally enclosed fan cooled motor with magnetic switch. Power is delivered to the 3 knive 2 7/8" cutterhead by three V-belts. The unit is both cast iron and steel construction for stability and durability.

There are two feed rates, 16 and 20 feet per minute, serrated infeed rollers and smooth outfeed rollers are standard. Angled 4" dust port positions the hose away from work area and provides efficient chip and dust collection. This 16" planer will hog some wood.
