8" Safety Dado Set, 2 outside cutters, 5 inside chippers, 24 teeth cutters with 15 degree hook, 5/8" arbor. Use on all softwood, hardwood, plywood or laminates. Maximum cut to 13/16". Additional shim set available as an option.

Freud's Safety Dado series provides the highest quality results while maintaining a level of safety never found in a dado before. This stacked dado with its razor-sharp outside blades will produce grooves or rabbets which are flat bottomed and virtually splinter-free in solid woods. Stacked dadoes are more precise than other styles of dadoes and with the use of Freud's Shim Set (sold separately) the kerf width can be adjusted by as little as .004" for the correct fit.
