| The Jet 708475 is a 12 inch Planer - Jointer Combo Kit. The planer shares three standard, high-speed-steel cutter knives with the jointer that run at 5500 RPM and make 16500 cuts per minute. The knives measure 12 inch long x 1-1/2 inch wide. It planes rough stock, virtually snipe free, up to 12 inch wide at a rate of 5/32 inch per pass. It also features a sturdy, half-closed, chip-resistant, powder-coated stand. The cast-iron bed is precision ground and polished for consistently smooth operation.
